BioDrone™ Platform is a CDV (cell-derived vesicle)-based drug delivery system (DDS). It is a groundbreaking drug delivery platform that selectively delivers various drugs to the specific lesions by loading them on the CDV.

Drug loading

A CDV is a drug transporter capable of loading various drugs, including genetic materials such as mRNA, small RNA, and low-molecular-weight compounds. Based on the following two strategies, MDimune is focusing on research into loading various medications.

  • Endogenous : enrichment of biomolecular payloads inside the cell, followed by extrusion
  • Exogenous : drug encapsulation on purified CDVs

Tissue targeting

It is possible to produce vesicles with enhanced targeting functions using human tissue cells with various functions and specific transformed cells. Based on this, we are developing a drug delivery system with enhanced cancer targeting, brain tissue penetration, and therapeutic efficacy.
